Surprise!
Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language, or DHTML, can be
used to help give web pages a flash of speed, as this example page shows
when the graphic is clicked the page shows more content as if it loaded a
new page, but in reality the content was loaded as one page. This can be
helpful when you want to show two views of a web page or add graphic changes
that give a different style of page design.
There are several ways to incorporate the DHTML functions, this is only
one of the ways we have choosen to show. This method is good for graphic
displays that are not very large, as it does not slow up the original load
of the page but can show the graphics quickly. However this type of page set
should not be used for several larges file sized graphics as it would take
too long to load all the pages components and this could result in viewers
clicking off your site.
